The Somali Researchers Association (SRA) has a highly skilled team of enumerators and a strong presence across all Federal Member States in Somalia, ensuring the successful implementation of research and data collection initiatives. Our enumerators are proficient in using digital tools such as ODK, SurveyCTO, and Kobo Toolbox for efficient data collection. They are also experienced in conducting qualitative studies, including Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and have the capacity to perform stakeholder mapping within short timeframes due to their deep familiarity with the regions they operate in.
In Jubaland State alone, SRA has a team of 50 enumerators, comprising both male and female professionals, who have participated in numerous surveys and are capable of reaching rural and remote areas. Additionally, SRA maintains a diverse pool of enumerators across all Federal Member States, with individuals from various educational backgrounds, including social sciences, public health, economics, and development studies. This diversity ensures a well-rounded approach to data collection and analysis, tailored to the specific needs of each project.
Our enumerators are not only skilled in fieldwork but are also adept at data transcription, ensuring high-quality outputs. Their knowledge of local dialects, cultural practices, and ability to engage effectively with community leaders, elders, and vulnerable groups further strengthens our capacity to conduct impactful research across Somalia. With this robust human capital and extensive regional presence, SRA is well-positioned to deliver reliable, culturally relevant, and actionable data for decision-making.
